Donna entertains a full house at the Kean Theatre, St. Barnabas Health System

She is receiving international radio airplay and sales from her latest CD release, BECOMING... Ballads, Bossas, Blues & Beyond! (DBS Jazz Label).

She headlined, in July 2005, with the Philadelpia-based Eric Mintel Quartet at the Monroeville Jazz Festival. National appearances include The Blue Note, The Rainbow Room, the Concorde (Catskills), Dallas Convention Center, high profile private fund raisers, the Byham Theatre, Alexander Fine Arts Theatre, Harry Caray’s and Luciano’s on Rush Street in Chicago.

She won "Entertainer of the Year" in 1991 by Promise Records of New York and was nominated for an ASCAP award for Charlie’s Place, written for an off-Broadway production of “Harvey”. Her song “Gifts From the Heart” won recognition from the Volunteers of America Group. Donna has also appeared in numerous commercials (NFL with Jerome Bettis), billboards, magazines, industrial films and national ads.

 

Donna was invited to perform for Dave Brubeck's birthday reception, following his concert.
The March 5th Gala was to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Manchester Craftsmens Guild and Mellon Jazz!

Television appearances include The Joe Franklin Show, The Nancy Gold Show and WQED’s “On Q”. She is the “Power Kard” voice for the Pittsburgh Symphony, Spa Uptown and Multilingual Communications Corporation. She headlined a sold out show at the Kean Theatre that was sponsored by WPXI - NBC Television.

Donna’s upcoming CD project is scheduled for release in the fall of 2008. It is being produced by four time Grammy winner, Jay Dudt of Audible Images. The project features nine nationally and internationally renowned jazz artists, including Ivan Lins, Joe Negri, Wayne Bergeron, Roger Humphries, Sean Jones, Hendrik Meurkins, Ron Anthony, Jay Ashby and Mike Tomaro.

Donna’s rhythm section includes pianist Mason Embry, bassist (and Music Director) Jason Hollar and percussionist, Subha Das.
